More detail on this person: My brother, Jerry M. Harris, retired CW4, passed away 2/15/19. Jerry was born June 26 1942 in Chattanooga, Tennessee and died at his home in Dutton, Alabama. He graduated with class 69-43 and served in Vietnam with the 237 Med Det. He served with numerous units during his military service and in addition to flying UH-1's in Vietnam, he was also rated in the CH-47. His awards are Army Service Medal/Overseas Service Ribbon/Good Conduct Medal/Army Aviator Badge/Air Medal (14) w/V Device/Overseas service ribbon (2) Vietnam Cross of Gallantry w/Palm(USARV)/Vietnam Campaign Medal/ Bronze Star Medal/ Senior Army Aviator Badge/ Army Commendation Medal (2d OLC) Vietnam Service Medal w/2 Campaign Stars/ Armed forces Service Medal/Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years Judy and three daughters, Carri, Traci and Jeri.
