More detail on this person: Jack E. Hughes of Michigan City, passed away on Friday, May 13th. He served his country in the US Army as a helicopter pilot for the 1st Calvary Division during the Vietnam War from 1968-1969 and retired from the Michigan National Guard Army Reserves after 30 years of service. He proudly displayed his 1st Calvary patch everywhere he went.
