More detail on this person: Colonel Frank M. Hepler, USMC (Retired), passed away Nov 18, 2007, in Springfield, VA. He was 88. A veteran of WWII and Korea, he commanded MAG-16 in Vietnam, and later served as marshal of the U.S. Supreme Court. He is survived by daughter. His wife Virginia survived him by only a few weeks. It was submitted by James R. Casey, Deputy Executive Directory, Marine Corps Aviation Association.
