More detail on this person: Mr Eric Lee Holsinger, 69 Eric Lee Holsinger State, The (Columbia, SC) - Friday, February 3, 2012 LEXINGTON - A memorial service for Eric Lee Holsinger, 69, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2012, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 2025 Main Street, Columbia, SC 29201. Mr. Holsinger was born June 19, 1942, in Marion, Ohio, and passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. He was a son of the late Charles W. and Ruth Stone Holsinger. Mr. Holsinger was a retired Army captain and helicopter pilot. He later retired from the South Carolina Department of Corrections. He was a former Mason. Mr. Holsinger is survived by his wife, Dale Powell Holsinger of Lexington; daughter, Jacque Holsinger of Lexington; brothers, Paul (Pat), Harold (Sharon) and Gene, all of Marion, OH; mother-in-law, Betty Powell of Lexington; sister-in-law, Sandra Powell of Lexington; and brother-in-law, Robert "Butch" (Susan) Powell of Lexington.
