Warrant Officer Four Edward L. Hinch, 69, passed
peacefully in his sleep Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015.
Graveside service: 1 p.m. Monday in Dallas-Fort
Worth National Cemetery. A gathering of friends
and family will meet at Greenwood Funeral Home at
the Arlington Chapel shortly after to honor and
celebrate his life. Edward was born July 16, 1946,
in Wichita Falls to Hazel and Eldon Hinch. He
graduated Wichita Falls High School in 1964 and
enlisted in the United States Army in 1968. He
graduated Warrant Officer Flight Training in 1969
and served as a pilot for 27 years. Upon leaving
the military, Edward accepted a position with the
Federal Aviation Administration where he continued
his public service. After 44 years of military and
civil service, Edward retired honorably in 2012.
Edward was preceded in death by his sister,
Eldonna Palmatary; and brother, Gary.
Survivors: Brothers, Anthony and Larry; children,
Victoria and Joshua and wife, Casey; grandson,
Charles; close friends, Joyce Martini, Johnny
Phillips, Angelo Spelios and Donna Adams. He also
leaves behind a host of friends and colleagues
whom he respected very much.
