More detail on this person: Result of massive injuries from a headon collision with another car.I worked with Billie D Holmes. He was a CW3 when he retired. His death was sudden and the result of massive injuries from a headon collision with another car. Additionally, Billie was the recipient of the Navy Cross earned as a Navy Corpman while serving with the Marines in RVN. The account and story was published in the Readers Digest several years ago.
