More detail on this person: John Leonard Hancock June 16, 1943 - January 13, 2021 John Leonard Hancock, age 77, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Flowers Hospital. A private Mass at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church will be held with a private burial to follow. Father Doug Smiley will be officiating In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wiregrass Emergency Pregnancy Services (WEPS). John retired as a CW3 from the US Army. During his military career he proudly served 3 tours in Vietnam. His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, he would regularly host get-togethers with dozens in attendance. He was a proud and faithful communicant of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. John was always up for an adventure and enjoyed traveling the world with Becky. If he was picking on you, you knew he liked you, he had a great sense of humor and loved life. There is so much that will be missed. Survivors include his wife, Becky Hancock, Enterprise, AL; two daughters, Alissa Himburg (Bobby) Coffee Springs, AL; Kim Wallace (Tim) New Brockton, AL; three sons, John Charles Hancock (Nylsa) Enterprise, AL; Sammy Hancock (Alison) Enterprise, AL; Douglas Hancock, San Diego, CA; seven grandchildren, Crystal Pannell (Kurrahm); Megan Grosland; Dustin Wallace; Christine Hancock; Sara Hancock; Grady Hancock; Zac Hancock (Anna); two great-grandchildren; and his best pal Fancy; brother, William Hancock; sister, Ann Cantrell.
