More detail on this person: Obituary for Rodney Hillard Rodney Gene Hillard, 67, of Richmond, the husband of Marion Yvonne Hillard, passed away Wednesday evening, September 23, 2009, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. A native of Lexington, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Clarence Ray and Hazel Lee (Spurgeon) Hillard. He was retired from the University of Kentucky, Department of Entomology, an Army veteran of the Vietnam era, and a member of White Oak Pond Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). A memorial service will be held at a later date. Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
