Victor was an active member of Redland Community United Methodist Church. He was a retired Lt. Col. in the US Army and a retired US Postal Service letter carrier. Victor was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Elks Lodge, and Moose Lodge. Victor is preceded in death by his father C.C. Hamilton and mother, Elrie Hamilton Webb. He is survived by his wife, Jerry Ann Wayt Hamilton, daughters Priscilla Hamilton, Pam (Charles) Booker, Trica (Mark) Jones , son, Geoff (Cathy) Hamilton, grandchildren, Megan, Laci, Jeff Davis, and John Lincoln Hamilton, Dylan Keeran, Conor and Madeline Jones, brother Claude (Joan) Hamilton, sister Nola (Frank) Lentz, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Palms Woodlawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, Sept. 11, from 6-8 p.m. and funeral services Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at Redland Community United Methodist Church. Donations in Victor's memory can be made to the FL United Methodist Children's Home, PO Box 6299, Deltona, FL 32728-9988.
