More detail on this person: WO1 Lawrence M Hanf flew with the 238th AWC Gunrunners in 1969-70. He left as a CW2 and his call sign was Gunrunner 14. Please add that to the database when you get a chance. He was a very good pilot and saved us when our UH-1C went IFR while low level over the road in the middle of the An Khe Pass one night, by immediately climbing to 3,000 ft flying 090 for 3 minutes, then letting down in the Phu Cat valley where we landed at PhuCat AFB to wait for our wingman who also went IFR to get a GCA into Phu Cat. He was a helluva pilot! I've been looking for him for years.
