More detail on this person: Dear Ann, I was so saddened to hear of Tom's death. He was my mentor in Vietnam in 1967 and I would not be here if not for him. I know his last combat flight on that tour was with me as aircraft commander on a late nite early moring mission covering one of our downed ships. Thanks to him I had learned the lessons well and was ready to continue. I will not forget him he will forever be in my thoughts and prayers.
