More detail on this person: HARRY FRANCIS HAUSER Philadelphia PA United States HAUSER HARRY FRANCIS, 86, of Rogers AR, died peacefully Sunday, November 23, 2014, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. He was born August 14, 1928 in Philadelphia PA to Henry F. Hauser, SR and Anne T. Fluehr Hauser. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Air Force following a distin-guished thirty year career. Among the many medals he received, Harry was awarded the Silver Star, the Bronze Star and the Distinguished Flying Cross. Harry received a master's degree in International Affairs from Georgetown University, a master's degree in Counter-insurgency from the U.S. Naval War College and a law degree from University of Arkansas. After retirement, he practiced law in Fayetteville and operat-ed a successful cattle ranch. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Bruce Hauser and Barry Hauser. Harry is survived by his wife of 23 years, Denise Hauser; 2 daughters, Marianne Hauser and husband, Michael Macaulay of Fayetteville AR, Marlene Hauser-Oberschneider and husband, Paul Oberschneider of Oxford and London, England; 2 stepsons, Marc Johnson and Erik Johnson of Alexandria VA; 2 sisters, Jacqueline H. Tucker of Phila-delphia PA, Phyllis Taliaferro and husband, Bill of North Brunswick NJ; 4 grandchildren, Roxanne Hauser, Lerryn Hauser, Sarah Hauser and Christian Oberschneider; 3 great-grandchildren, Elyssa, Lillian and Jace and one god-child, Maria "Mimi" Tucker of Philadelphia PA. Memorials may be made in memory of Harry Hauser to U.S. Air Force Academy, Character & Leader-ship Development Programs at www.usafa.org/give/characterfund Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors at a later date.
