More detail on this person: Jackson M. Holland Died: 6/27/2007 Jackson M. Holland, 65, had his last flight on June 27, 2007 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 24, 1942 in Hawkinsville, Georgia. He was a retired helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army for twenty-seven years. He graduated from Troy State University with a degree in Aviation Management, worked for Raytheon Aviation and served three duties in Kuwait and Iraq as Supervisor Maintenance for military aircraft. He was an avid Nascar fan, loved fishing, and playing pool. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Mr. Holland was most recently employed at Colonia Del Rey in Flour Bluff. He lived for love of his family, grandchildren, friends, and two precious dogs, Charlie and Molly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Katherine Holland, and a brother, Ray Holland. He is survived by his wife, Patricia C. Holland; daughters, Kendra (James) Rinck and Marisa (Jack) Melton both of Oklahoma, RaNona (David) Hall of Georgia; step daughters, Debra Kniffen of Windsor, Connecticut and Jody (Robert) Boughton of Texas; step sons, William and Timothy Bonawitz both of Texas; a sister, Priscilla Robertson of Georgia; grandchildren: Zachary Taylor, Jack Melton, Haley Rinck, Kassidy Rinck, Lauren Hall, Jake D. Hall; step grandchildren: John Bonawitz, Jennifer Bonawitz, Robert Boughton, Tommey Boughton, Tiffie Boughton, Shantel Kniffen, Chris Gabrial, Nick Bonawitz, and Lance Bonawitz. A Memorial Service to celebrate Jackson M. Holland's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2007 at the Guardian Chapel with Military honors to follow.
