More detail on this person: Joseph Karl Huff Joseph K. "Joe" Huff was the fifth and last child born to Dave O. And Olga D. (Biggs) Huff. Joe was a very bright and loving child, the delight of his four older siblings: Craig W., Larry D., Carolyn S., and Dorothy L.. Joe was baptized into the Christian Faith as a young child at Fairbanks Methodist Church where he attended religious education classes. He attended public school for 12 years in the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. Joe was a highly skilled diesel mechanic having learned at his father's side while employed at Dave O. Huff & Sons, Engine Rebuilders, in Fairbanks, Texas. During the Vietnam War Joe served a year as a helicopter pilot attaining the rank of CW2 in the US Army. After flying many dangerous missions in Vietnam, Joe was killed instantly stateside in a one-car accident. He was a passenger in a car driven by a fatigue and alcohol impaired driver. Joe was 25 years old at the time of his death. Joe was survived in 1974 by his parents and siblings, his wife and toddler daughter. That little daughter, Nancy Jo [Huff] Radenz [Mills] Trometer, has since given him two beautiful granddaughters. Still miss you so. Both Carolyn and Craig have gone to their rewards...
