More detail on this person: "Bob" Haar, 85 of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018.Bob was born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 18, 1933. He retired in 1975 from the US Army as a Major after 20 years. Bob was a helicopter pilot and served in the Vietnam War. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Northwood Temple. The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. After the service a reception will follow in the Family Life Center dining hall at the church. Bob is survived by his sons, John Haar (Karen), Robert Haar, Thomas Haar, Dan Haar; grandchildren, Gretchen, Hannah, John Michael, Robert Thomas; seven great-children; step-son, Ronnie Austin (Jodi),step-daughter, Diane Austin; step-grandchildren, Joey Austin, Aaron Austin (Jessie), Kansas Hanneken (Mike); step-great grandchildren; Kallie Hanneken and Ava Austin; sisters-in-laws, Hazel Tart, Polly Jackson, Peggy Gainey; brothers-in-laws, Gale Barefoot, Gary Barefoot, Tony Barefoot; fur babies, Boopie, Spot, and Booties.Arrangements by Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
