More detail on this person: Died from a heart
attack when discovering his seriously ill wife
dead. James Allen Hardt (Jimmy) and his wife
Anita passed away on 15 June 2003 at their home
in Enterprise, Alabama. Anita had been very ill
and it is reported that when Jimmy found her dead,
he suffered a heart attack. They had been married

Jimmy was in the last F Troop OCS CLass at Ft
Know, KY where he was commissioned a 2LT in
September 1967. From Ft Knox he went to
Germany and returned to the State to attend flight
training in 1970, Class 70-14. Upon graduation he
was sent to Vietnam where he was shot down and
badly maimed. After extensive rehabilitation at VA
hospitals, him and his wife settled in Enterprise,
AL where he had purchased a home prior to
deployment to Vietnam. They had no children.
