Born in Kinston, N.C., he moved to Central Florida in 1983. He was a member of retired Officers Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was Baptist. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors: wife, Carmen C.; mother, Ruth S., Kinston; stepson, Dale, Morgan City, La.; daughter, Valerie Dean, Youngsville, La.; three grandchildren. Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, Orlando.
