He resided in Ozark, Alabama when he died. He was born April 18, 1932 at Seaside Hospital, Long Beach, California. He was the son of Lester Clifford Haverfield and Maude Affleck. Les attended Boise High School and is in the 1948 school yearbook. He was a Chief Warrant Officer in the US Army and a helicopter pilot. He served in the Vietnam War. He retired from the US Army with the rank of CW04 after 20 years service. He married Shirley (Howard) Sprague on July 8, 1953 at the 5th Army Chapel in Chicago IL. The name on the marriage license is Lester C Haverfield. He filed for divorce in Palo Pinto Co., TX on Jan 25, 1963. The decree was signed on Nov 27, 1963. Issue one son Randall Clifford
