He was a CW4 at the time of his death. He came home to Ft. Bragg around 1972 and flew the Golden
Knights. He and his friend Charlie Larkin were shot down in Vietnam but were rescued and broke his
back in the crash but was able to fly anything except aircraft with an ejection seat. At least that
is my understanding. My mother and he split up around 1973 and he later took his life in Ft. Bragg
at the BOQ. He had a very difficult time with the war and what he saw afterwards. He died on 2/3/75
and is buried at Arlington.
