He was a CW4 at the time of his death. He came
home to Ft. Bragg around 1972 and flew the Golden
Knights. He and his friend Charlie Larkin were
shot down in Vietnam but were rescued and broke
his back in the crash but was able to fly anything
except aircraft with an ejection seat. At least
that is my understanding. My mother and he split
up around 1973 and he later took his life in Ft.
Bragg at the BOQ. He had a very difficult time
with the war and what he saw afterwards. He died
on 2/3/75 and is buried at Arlington.
