More detail on this person: ALLEN E. HOOKER Retired Army Maj. Allen Edward Hooker, 68, of Route 5, Box 188, Fayetteville, died Tuesday in Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg. He was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Main Post Chapel at Fort Bragg by Chaplain Michael King. Burial with full military honors will be in Main Post Cemetery at Fort Bragg. Arrangements are being handled by Highland Funeral Service & Crematory. Mr. Hooker is survived by his wife, Dorothy G. Hooker; two sons, Gary L. Hooker of Matthews and Kurt G. Hooker of Hope Mills; two daughters, Karen L. Hooker and Pamela A. Locklear, both of Fayetteville; two brothers, Robert Hooker of Los Gatos, Calif., and Loren Hooker of Corbin, Ky.; and seven grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Route 5, Fayetteville, N.C. 28301.
