Couple Killed in Crash And Child Is Critically Hurt MELVILLE, L.I., Dec. 27-A young couple was killed and their baby was crtically injured here last night in a two?car accident on Route 110. The driver of the second car was charged with drunken driving. Suffolk County police iden tified the victims as Richard Hoppe, 26 years old, of 41 Monmouth Drive, East North port, L.I. and his wife Can dice, 25. The police said they were killed at about 11:30 P.M. Their 10?month?old daughter, Carrie, was reported in critical condi tion this afternoon at Central General Hospital, Plainview, L.I. The police said that the Hoppe vehicle was northbound when it was struck by a south bound vehicle, traveling in the wrong lane, and driven by An drew Turchek, 29, of 5 Birch Circle, East Farmingdale, L.I. Mr. Turchek, who escaped in jury, was released on $500 bail this morning after arraignment in District Court on the drunken driving charge.
