More detail on this person: TH-55A mid-air near Weatherford, TX during training. Killed in other TH-55A WAS 2LT James A. Wright. Lieut Douglas Harold Howard Howard had been employed by the Burroughs Corp. in Winston-Salem until entering the Army in early 1967. He had been taking helicopter pilot training at Fort Wolters, Texas, and had been flying solo for about three weeks when he was killed in a helicopter collision near Mineral Wells, Texas. Son of Mr Harold Felix Howard and Mrs Evelyn Lorena Gaylor Howard of Wilmington, NC. 05 MAR 68 2LT Douglas H.
