More detail on this person: Retired Lieutenant Colonel Carroll C. Isaacs, 88 of Louisville, passed away October 8, 2018. He was the son of the late Oakley Isaacs Sr and Jane Garland Isaacs. Carroll was part of the Army for 21 years, serving in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. In addition to flying planes and helicopters, Carroll led a battalion in the Vietnam War. After retiring from the Army, he became an entrepreneur and developed several successful businesses. He is preceded in death by his sister: Jane Isaacs Krizay. He is survived by his beloved wife: Geraldine Isaacs; his three children: Dane (Denise) Isaacs, Scott (Sherrye) Isaacs, and Laura Isaacs (Richard) Fischer; his four grandchildren: Darren Isaacs, Trevor Isaacs, Annalara Fischer, and Christian Fischer; and his brother: Oakley Isaacs Jr. A funeral service will be held 10 AM Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218. Visitation will be from 3-7 PM Friday, October 12, 2018 at the funeral home.
