More detail on this person: Capt. Thomas Graham I Anson, 29, a decorated Vietnam veteran who was stationed at Ft. Hood, Tex., helicopter base, died Sunday after a brief illness in Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio. Capt. I'Anson was awarded the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, Vietnam Air Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, a Valor Citation, three Unit Citations, Presidential Unit C i t a t i o n and Army Aviator Wings while serving a year in Vietnam. Born in Southport, England, he came to Phoenix in 1958 and attended Phoenix College and Arizona State University. He was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and Central Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Janie LaBenz I'Anson; a son, Thomas; a daughter, Suzanne; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas C. I'Anson; and a sister, Linda I'Anson, all of Phoenix, and another sister, Mrs. Marlene Albert of Denver. Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Paradise Chapel, 3934 E. Indian School. Burial, with full military honors, will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
