More detail on this person: David Frances Johnson David F. Johnson of Lancaster, PA, 65, passed away on July 27, 2010. He was born in Lancaster, PA on December 6, 1944, son of the late Franklin D. Johnson and G. Janet Johnson of Lancaster. After obtaining a BA degree in Business, he completed officer training and served in the U.S. Army as a helicopter pilot. After successfully completing a tour in Vietnam, he was assigned to a helicopter unit in Germany from 1969 to 1972. Following his discharge from active duty in the Army, he served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 5 years. He received his stock brokerage license and worked in Lancaster for several years followed by a position with McDonald Douglas, and later was employed as an aviation consultant in Russia. He is survived by his daughter, Taylor Johnson Fountain, wife of Adam Fountain of Jupiter, FL, two brothers, Gregory P. Johnson of York, Courtney D. Johnson of Marietta, and a 7 month old granddaughter, Piper R. Fountain. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Lancaster PA on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 6 PM. Interment will take place at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 11 AM.
