More detail on this person: Richard Jackson was hijackedon June 6, 1975 to use his helicopter in a prison break. Dale Remling escaped from Michigan state prison in Jackson, Michigan by having an accomplice hijack a helicopter flown by Richard JACKSON on June 6, 1975. Remling was captured 30 hours later.

Richard passed away after a year-long battle with pancreatic cancer in a hostel in Las Vegas, near his home of more than 10 years. His only living relative, his sister Linda and long-time friend Marggi Grunn (who was his constant care giver throughout the ordeal of his last year) were with him. Old stickmates Terry Brown, Dallas Figgins, John Hambrick and myself and my wife, Jamie, were able to get to Vegas together to say goodbye. While he was in a medically induced coma, we would like to believe that somehow he knew that we were there for him. I know it was cathartic for all of us.

His sister had his remains cremated (his wish) and sent some of his ashes to each of the four of us_ I released Pog back to the heavens from my Mooney on a return flight from visiting family in Wisconsin _ mission complete release - 04APR20102327z(1827a); from 22.5 to 21.5NM - 285 radial Gipper VOR (GIJ) inbound, 10,500' MSL, over Lake Michigan, abeam New Buffalo, MI... revel in the universe, our Brother, you are with us always.
