More detail on this person: Johndro, Dana A. CW4 (RET), born Limestone, Me, 12 June, 1947, Retired for good, July 1, 2022. Attended Hartford Public High School, 1965 and ST Martin's University,1995. US Army, 67-94 DSC, DFC (3), AM (56), Ghostrider 16, 189 AHC, 68-69 and Pink Panther 23, 361 ACE, 70-71. With guidance from his Wife of 38 years he managed to stay off the blotter report post retirement. Didn't complete his bucket list - but oh well. In addition to all the love he shared with his beautiful Wife, Hye Kyong, he wants to thank All VHPAers for their help over the years. The end. ( Written by Dana) (Postscript) I received my first Air Medal for Flight in Vietnam the same day Dana received his DSC. He was known far and wide for his beautiful handled bar. When the 17th CAG Commander, Col Merryman, pinned the medal on Dana's chest and offered his congratulations, Dana forgot he had his famous mustache tucked in his mouth. His "thank you, Sir" exposed his upper lip cover and it popped out to it's full width. Col Merryman said in a loud voice "Mister. I don't expect to ever see that again! Dana replied "No Sir"' and he kept his word. He never received another DSC so Col Merryman would have to see it. What a guy! Always thinking of others. - Mike Sheuerman
