More detail on this person: Blaine died the day after Thanksgiving with his wife and children around him. He was born April 22,1933 in Boise, Idaho, to Ada Loveland and Norris Parley Jensen. He married Clarice Talbot, June 11,1996 in the Logan Temple. They would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary this year, but since he courted her for 8 years before they married, he always said that they had a much longer time together than the 64 years. He served his young mission in Denmark. Blaine served in the military for 20 years, flew helicopters for two tours in Vietnam, was branch president in Kaiserslautern, Germany and Ozark, Alabama, and helped build two large chapels there for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He ended his military career in the Embassy in Oslo, Norway, and then went to work for the Church for another 20 years. During his time working for the Church he was with the Welfare Department and the Presiding Bishop's Office. He was the Director of Temporal Affairs for the British Isles and Africa twice, Mission President in the London South Mission, and President of the MTC in Preston, England. He was a Reginal Representative and during that time he was in charge of the building and dedication of the Bountiful Temple. He was a sealer in the Temple and had the opportunity to perform the marriages^ many of his grandchildren. He and his wife served 8 missions together and he loved his calling as Stake Patriarch. He was a man who loved others and was known for his kindness and his ability to make everyone feel comfortable in his presence. He loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ and truly valued his membership in the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his wife, Clarice, his son, Michael and his wife Karen, his daughter Annie Laurie Richardson and her husband Brian, a son Christopher and wife SandraLee, and a son Eric and his wife Francine. We will miss him but know he is happy and busy teaching and working with those he knew throughout his life who went before him. Condolences may be expressed to the family at SundbergOlpinMortuary.com.
