More detail on this person: I was a passenger on a flight into combat on 4 September 1968. Major James H Janszen was the pilot. CPT. George A Johnson was copilot. PFC George T Milton Jr was one of the door gunners. These men distinguished themselves by volunteering during Typhoon conditions come to the aid of a US Army mechanized unit ambushed by a numerically superior NVA force. The mission was to evacuate the wounded from a hot LZ. Please aid me or advise me as to how I may communicate with these men after all these years. Recognizing the difficulty that great lapses of time provide for, and being sensitive to the privacy consideration of the individuals involved there must be some mechanism by which those who shared the experience may reunite. As to myself,.....I was a Navy Battalion Surgeon serving with the 3rd Marine Division and accompanied these aviators on one of the two flights into this LZ. You may google me for purposes of validation using my name as Lt. Edward M. Feldman, USN Navy Medicine.
