CDR Kubicki was one of my naval science instructors in high school. He instructed countless cadets, including me, in the Naval Junior ROTC program at Brother Martin High School in New Orleans, Louisiana, completing that port-of-call of his life's voyage in the early 1980s.

Services for CDR Ed Kubicki USN (Ret.): Interment: Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92018, Phone (951) 653-8417, Fax (951) 653-5233.

Funeral Mass: St. John Baptist De La Salle Church, 16565 Chatsworth St, Granada Hills, CA 91344, Phone (818) 363-2535. The viewing is Tuesday, Nov 2 from 12 - 5 for family, 5 - 9 pm open viewing at Bastian and Perrott Mortuary in Northridge, CA. On Wednesday, Nov 3, 10:00 am there will be funeral mass at St. John Baptist De la Salle Church in Granada Hills, Ca., with interment at 2:01 pm at Riverside National Cemetery. Travel time from Granada Hills to Riverside is approximately 2 hours.
