Survived by his wife, Carol Ann of the family home in McLean, VA and their four children, Kathleen Marie Zwack, her husband, William and their daughters, Kerry, Jody and Molly of Kensington, MD, Kara Eileen Pascale, her husband, Joseph and their daughters, Kristen, Rachael and Taylor of Ashburn, VA, James Joseph, III, his wife, Kathryn and their sons, Max and Isaac of Corvallis, OR and John Patrick of North Little Rock, AR; his brother-in-law, Thomas R. Kane of Scarborough, ME; several cousins and many, many friends. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME OF ARLINGTON, 4510 Wilson Blvd. from 2 to 7 on Wednesday, January 23. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 8:45 a.m., Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Fort Myer Old Post Chapel, followed by burial at Arlington National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catskill Area Hospice, 1 Birchwood Dr., Oneonta, NY 13820.
