More detail on this person: Capt Anthony Eugene "Tony" Keller Capt. Anthony Keller was, as typical Army "brats" tend to be, brought up in several United States cities and also lived in Germany for a number of years while his father was stationed in that country. The first child of five born to SFC Dwight and Lucille Schultze Keller, "Tony" was a busy child who grew into a handsome young man, the third of twenty-two Keller grandchildren. He graduated from high school, and, following his father's example, enlisted in the Army. He quickly qualified for Officer Candidate School and earned the rank of Captain. During the Viet Nam war, he piloted a helicopter, flying evacuation missions, at times under enemy fire, to get wounded soldiers off the battlefields to medical care. Although he was highly decorated, he modestly never spoke of the honours he had earned by placing his life on the line for his fellow soldiers. His extended family remained unaware of his heroism until after he was no longer with us. "Tony" left behind his devoted wife, Ofelia, his son, Patrick, and his wife, Tanja Krantzlein Keller; his daughter, Michelle Keller, and grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers: Terry, and his wife, Terrie, of Aurora, and Dwight, Jr., of Scottsdale, Arizona, sisters and brothers-in-law: Anita and Tab O'dell, of Bennett, Colorado, and Yvonne and Michael Ailport, of North Carolina. Tony is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A military service was held in his honour at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
