More detail on this person: Robert E. Krell April 7, 1945 - Nov. 29, 2007 Robert E. Krell, of Crooked River Ranch, died Thursday of natural causes. He was 62. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Mr. Krell was born April 7, 1945, in San Diego, the son of Lawrence and Barbara (Walker) Krell. He married Debra Hope on June 24, 1996, in Vancouver, Wash. Mr. Krell served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a maintenance supervisor at Fox Hollow Independent and Assisted Living in Bend. He was a public school teacher in Portland for 16 years. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gary, of American Falls, Idaho, and John, of Germany; five daughters, Natalie Canland, of Arizona, Tamara Justice, of Washington, Melanie Stone, of Terrebonne, Melissa Smith, of Portland, and Diana Gunther; two sisters, Sandra Steed, of Oceanside, Calif., and Larinda Piekerton, of La Mesa, Calif.; and 14 grandchildren. Redmond Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
