More detail on this person: Paul D. Keller Recipient of Purple Heart, Bronze Star Recipient of Purple Heart, Bronze Star Paul Dennis Keller, 65, of Windham, died Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, in Concord after a two-year struggle with cancer. Mr. Keller was born July 27, 1940, in Maspeth, N.Y. He grew up in Oneida, N.Y., earned a Bachelor of Arts from St. Lawrence University in 1960 and received his Master of Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1976. Mr. Keller had a 26-year military career of service to the nation as an Army officer. He initially served with the 1st Special Forces Group and the 1st of the 9th Air Cavalry Division with service in Okinawa, Taiwan and Vietnam from 1964-66 and returned again in 1968-69 as a helicopter pilot. While serving in Germany from 1969-72, he commanded the Air Troop for the 2nd Air Cavalry Regiment. He also served in the 117th Assault Helicopter Company in South Korea from 1972-73. He is the recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star medals and retired as a lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserves. After the military, he and Wendy, his wife of 44 years, moved to New Hampshire and considered it their home. He retired in 2003 from Lucent Technology, where he was vice president of enterprise resource planning. He also worked for SAP America, where he was the director of global accounts, and Wang Labs, where he was a senior manager. An avid sailor, he served on the board of governors of the Blue Water Sailing Club and was a member of Naval Yacht Club of Portsmouth. He volunteered in local government with the town of Windham and was elected to public office as a trustee of the Nesmith Library. Survivors include his mother, Martha; wife, Wendy; two sons, Gregory and Andrew; a sister, Daria Feinstein; a brother, Ralph; and five grandchildren, Theodore, Elizabeth, Melissa, Caroline and Alison. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire in Manchester is in charge of arrangements.
