More detail on this person: KISH Louis D. KISH Louis D., 81, of Largo died Nov. 16, in the home he cherished with his wife of 30 years. He was born in Painesville, OH and came here in 1970. After graduating from Harvey High School and the University of Pittsburgh, Degreeded in Mechanical Engineering, he entered the Army and served for 20 years, including Korea and three tours in Vietnam. In his military career, he was awarded many Medals and Commendations, but always felt most honored to be awarded the "Legion of Merit". He was an Army Aviator and retired Lt. Colonel. In his civilian life, Louis was a Financial Consultant with Merrill Lynch and Smith Barney, where after 32 years he retired at the age of 77. As life member of Member of Sertoma, a Rotarian and Military Officers Association, he sought to serve the community he enjoyed so much. Born of Hungarian Immigrants, he often stated his greatest joy was locating his relatives which was a 25 year pursuit. He leaves a legacy of uncommon Beauty in his Gardens, it seemed that everything grew and blossomed under his tender. Survived by his loving wife, Cheryl; 3 daughters Kelley Georgiafandis of Milan, OH, Sally Hubiak of Ridgefiled, CT, and Susan Allan of Philladephia, PA; 10 Grand- children and 6 Great-grandchildrenHe lived as he died, courageously & with dignity. He will be deeply missed. Burial with Full Military Honors at Arlington. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch are greatly appreciated.
