More detail on this person: George F. Kraus Jr. Colonel, U.S. Army (Retired) was born on January 12, 1935 and died on May 17, 2019. He was a native of Louisville, Kentucky. He was a decorated Chinook Pilot; served in the Vietnam War and survived several crashes after being shot down in battle. He was a former School Brigade Commander at Fort Sill.
