More detail on this person: Martin A. Kendall Martin A. Kendall, 81, of Camp Hill died Sunday at home. He retired from the Army as a colonel, was a veteran of World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars and was awarded the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star and Army Commendation Medal. He was a member of Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, Camp Hill, and a life member of Eichelberger VFW post, New Cumberland. Surviving are his wife, Elaine Hawco Kendall; a son, Thomas J. of New Buffalo; a daughter, Mary Jo Young of New Cumberland; a brother, William of Whitestone, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday in his church. Burial, with military honors, will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Neill Funeral Home, Camp Hill, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Lebanon V.A. Medical Center, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon 17042.
