More detail on this person: Ronald T. Kramer, 76, of Cherry Hill, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 26, after a battle with dementia and Covid-19. Ron was born and raised in Greenwich Village. He is preceded in death by his parents, Reginald and Natalie (Tomasulo) and his first wife Mary Beth Heipertz. Ron was in the seminary in Lowell, MS for three years before finishing his high school years at Cardinal Hayes in the Bronx. Ron went on to graduate from the College of New York City (CCNY) in 1967. He was a proud member of the ROTC Pershing Rifles. Ron was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, and upon his return he joined the United States Secret Service where he worked for 22 years. During his time with the service he earned a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from George Washington University. After retiring from the service he worked for Cigna Corporate Security in Philadelphia for 15 years. Ron loved traveling with his wife Gerri and enjoyed photographing the architecture of the various locations. Many of these photos hang in the family room where they are enjoyed by visitors. He also tried his hand at wine-making but the dandelion wine was not a hit. Ron will be dearly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife Gerri (Boyle) and his three devoted children of whom he was very proud: Thomas (LuAnn), Melissa Domalewski (Craig) and Justine Dannelly (Jim O'Brien). Pop Pop Ron had nine loving grandchildren and he often said how lucky he was to have all great kids: Max, Jacqueline, and Stephen Kramer, Jay, Kylie and Ryan Domalewski and Chase, Makenna and Chloe Dannelly. He is also survived by a brother Christopher (Marie) from Long Island and nephew Matthew. Ron had many step-nieces and nephews and for many years he hosted a party for his side of the family and Gerri's and jokingly called it the Hatfields and McCoys Annual bash. Ron had a great sense of humor, something he never lost throughout his illness. He was an Eagles and Phillies fan even though he was a New Yorker. As a kid, his heart was broken when his beloved Brooklyn Dodgers headed west. He vowed never to root for another NY team. He and Gerri spent 15 years attending Phillies' spring training games in Clearwater, FL. They were snowbirds until his illness clipped his wings and brought them back to NJ to be closer to family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Gathering Saturday September 12,2020 at St. Timothy's Church 3011 Levick St. Phila., Pa. 191499:30am until 10:30am Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am . Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate Mass cards or donations to Acacia Hospice, 902 Jacksonville Rd., Burlington, NJ 08016.
