More detail on this person: JAMES L. KIDD INDIANAPOLIS - Retired Army Lt. Col. James L. Kidd, 51, died Saturday, May 19, in Community Hospital. Mr. Kidd was a Peninsula resident for more than five years. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Lou Kidd; one daughter; one son; his parents; and two brothers. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Branch Funeral Home, Roanoke Rapids, N.C. Burial will be in Cedarwood Cemetery, Roanoke Rapids. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to The American Cancer Society, 618C J. Clyde Morris Blvd., Newport News 23601.
