More detail on this person: A Funeral Service for Charles LaCelle, 62, of Lake Kiowa, TX is scheduled for 12:00 P.M. on Friday, February 3, 2012 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Arlington, TX with Pastor Paul Seager officiating. Burial will be at DFW National Cemetery on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 10:30 AM under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. LaCelle was called home to be with his savior Jesus Christ on January 31, 2012 in Gainesville. He was born May 30, 1949 in Frankfort, NY.

Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. There will also be visitation from 10 A.M. - 12 P.M. Friday, February 3, 2012 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Arlington, TX. Mr. LaCelle was a very proud Vietnam Veteran where he flew Cobra helicopters. He received two Distinguished Flying Crosses along with numerous other medals for his diligent service. Mr. LaCelle continued to fly helicopters as part of a successful career in the air medical industry. He married his beloved wife, Debbie, on December 21, 1991 in Arlington. He was a loving husband, father, and friend and a faithful member of Our Savior Lutheran and Christ Alone Lutheran Churches. Survivors include wife Debbie of Lake Kiowa; son Justin Wallis and wife Elizabeth of Howe; sister Sharon D'Aiuto and husband Tom of Rome, NY; brother Sonny LaCelle and wife Janet of Herkimer, NY; brother Billy LaCelle of Ilion, NY; sister Lori Coffin and husband Randy of Ilion, NY; sister Lisa Seifred and husband Greg of Utica, NY; grandchildren Keegan Canant and Rebecca Wallis; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. LaCelle was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Margie Bellinger; and brother Bruce LaCelle.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations in Mr. LaCelle's honor be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org or 877-832-6997.
