More detail on this person: Kenneth E Linville ERWIN - Kenneth E. Linville, age 66, of J.D. Willis Circle, Erwin, passed away at 8:35 P.M. Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at the Johnson City Medical Center due to complications from Esophageal cancer. He was born March 22, 1945, in Sunflower County, Mississippi. Kenneth was the youngest son of the late William Howard and Edna Nason Linville. Kenneth retired in 2003 as Chief Financial Officer of Unicoi County Memorial Hospital. He had previously held positions as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer at various hospitals before moving to Erwin. He attended Clear Branch Baptist Church. Kenneth proudly served his country as a Chief Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army, completing tours of duty in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot. Other than his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd Allen Linville and William Eugene Linville. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Pamela Willis Linville; two daughters, Cynthia Linville Harding, of Franklin, TN, Michelle Linville Keifer, of Mt. Juliet, TN; two step-daughters, Summer Octavia Day, of Erwin, and Autumn Day Bell, of Stantonsburg, NC; three grandchildren, Megan Michelle Harding, Molly Elizabeth Harding, Michael Fisher Bunch; five step-grandchildren, Winter Snow Day-Honeycutt, Trent Cade Allen, Liberty Alexandria Bell, Donnie Clyde Bell, James Dwight Bell; one brother, Charles Winford Linville, of Jacksonville, FL; father-in-law, James Dwight Willis, of Erwin; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 15, 2011, at Clear Branch Baptist Church with Reverend Mark Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Friday preceding the service at the church. Interment will follow in Clear Branch Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Michael Bunch, Caleb Tilson, Jim Tilson, Terry Franklin, Phillip Franklin, Michael Lane. Memorial contributions
