More detail on this person: James Thomas Leman, 72, of Hillsdale, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 6, 2018. Beloved husband of Barbara (Zebro). Devoted father of Christopher and his wife Nilda; Melissa Leman and her husband Christian Rober. Loving grandfather of Ryan Leman and Paige Rober. Born in New York City, he resided in Hillsdale since 1975. He held a BS from St. Peter's University and an MBA from Fordham University. He began his career on Wall Street at the New York Stock Exchange. James was a Managing Director with Salomon Brothers and was a founding member of the FIX Protocol. He sat on the Board of Regents of St. Peter's University. James was a Captain in the US Army, serving in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot with the 1st Cavalry Division. Visitation will take place at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, on Sunday, 3-5 and 7-9 pm. A Mass celebrating James's life will be held on Monday at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Hillsdale at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. Peter's University, Jersey City
