More detail on this person: Richard Lyon (November 4, 1946 - January 16, 2014) U.S. Veteran 67 year old Richard P. Lyon of Smithville passed away Thursday night at DeKalb Community Hospital. Mr. Lyon was in Real Estate for a time. He served in the the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was a decorated military pilot. It was Mr. Lyon's wishes that he be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later time. He is preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother, a brother & sister- John Lyon of CA & Jean Lyon of Oregon.
