More detail on this person: Roger Arnold Lange passed away on Monday August 29th surrounded by his close family and loving wife, Peggy of 48 years. He enriched many peoples lives with love and compassion and provided the world to his family. He was also a proud father of two sons, Ryan and Kevin and he adored his four grandchildren, Gabriel, Giselle, Wesley and Lennon.Roger was born in Dubuque, Iowa and graduated High School in 1966 from Clayton Valley High in Concord, CA. While attending DVC and taking aviation courses, he was drafted to the United States Army in 1968. If you've ever talked to Roger about his time as a Pilot, you probably know that he completed his tour of Vietnam after 2 years, 10 months and 28 days as a Chief Warrant Officer and Combat Helicopter Pilot. Roger was proud of his service to his country and was given awards including the Air Medal For Heroism, the Bronze Star and others..Roger was also a proud Electrician and member of the IBEW Local 302 for over 47 years. He was a workaholic who always set his family up for success. Roger loved finding a bargain. When he found a deal, he wouldn't just get one for himself, he would buy one for each family member because he loved giving and being a provider. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 10th at 11am at Ouimet Bros. Funeral Chapel, 4125 Clayton Road. Concord, CA 94521. Reception to follow. Interment will be private.
