More detail on this person: Roy Edward Logan, age 72, passed away peacefully at his home on June 5, 2017. He was born in Mobile, Alabama, and graduated from Auburn University. He served honorably in the United States Army, including a tour as a helicopter pilot in the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Janice Becker Logan; his four children, Ashley Logan Weant (Steven), Jennifer Logan Knepshield (Mike), Mallory Logan, and Emory Logan; his siblings Del Jockisch (now deceased) (Bill), Kay Loftin (Paul), Jo Marie Potter (Pete), Paul Sanders (Anne), and Gene Logan (Susan); his four grandchildren, Katie, Piper, Sydney, and Mia; and numerous nieces and nephews. Roy was an avid New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers fan. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 9, 2017, at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana, at 1:00 p.m., with a Visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
