LeRoy Col (Ret) USA, 67, died June 26, 2009. He retired after 27 years of faithful and loyal service in 1994. He was an experienced project manager with companies such as Delta Air Lines (25 years), Draper & Associates, Atlanta Housing Authority, Georgia Tech, was a long time member of Congregation Etz Chaim, was active in the Boy Scouts for over 20 years, and ran the Peachtree Road Race 32 times. He is survived by his wife of over 40 years Diane Stein LeRoy, son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Tina LeRoy, Roswell; daughter and son-in-law Adriane and Lee Shapiro, Alpharetta, granddaughter, Leah Shapiro, and sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Doug Seavy, WA. Graveside services will be held Monday, June 29, at 10:00 am at Arlington Cemetery with Rabbi Paul Kerbel officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Emory University School of Medicine, Center for Neurodegenerative Disease, White Biomedical Research Bldg, 615 Michael St, Suite 500, Atlanta, GA, 30322.
