Mr. Losey was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota and lived in Jacksonville since 1965. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 30 years through WW II, the Korean War, and Vietnam. He was a decorated Mason, having served as the Past Right Eminent Grand Commander, Grand Commandery, K.T. of Florida. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Myrtle H. Losey; 3 sons, Charles Edward Losey, Jr. (wife, Jane), Robert Eugene Losey (wife, Donna), & Richard Frederick Losey (wife, Kathy); daughter, Charlene Losey Watson (husband, Ross); 9 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 10 AM Saturday, November 22, 2003 at The Scottish Rite Masonic Center, 965 Hubbard St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Land Pilgrimage Committee, c/o Les Scott, 4409 Shiloh Ln., Jax., FL 32210.
