More detail on this person: Helicopter accident while demonstrating a Robinson R-44.Seattle P-I, Sat, 12MAY01, has an article re: R-44 crash/burn, yesterday 2 pilots "when their 4-seat wingless aircraft appeared to lose power and plunge into trees near a golf course." They ID the occupats as (1) Wade C. Carter, car-dealer and (2) Bob LaPrarie, veteran Seattle helicopter pilot. "LaPrarie, 59, had 11,000 hours of flight time that included a combat tour of Vietnam...". It is unknown at this time who was flying the acft.
