He came here seven years ago from his native Clinton, Iowa. He was a retired Army lieutenant colonel and an Episcopalian. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2108, Johnson City, Tenn., the Elks Lodge, Kansas, and the Moose Lodge, California. Survivors include his wife, Patricia J.; a son, David, St. Petersburg; two stepsons, Tim Hilton, Johnson City, and Al Hilton, California; a stepdaughter, Louann Rosenfeld, Coeur D'Alene, Idaho; a brother, Robert, Clinton; and six grandchildren. Wilder-Fountains Funeral Home, Homosassa Springs.
