Lenertz, Jr., was born August 24, 1939 and died
August 8, 2014. He became a Naval Aviator,
Helicopter Pilot, October 15, 1963. He was
assigned to Anti-Submarine Squadron HSRON 6,
NAAS Ream Field, Imperial Beach, CA with two
tours of duty as anti-submarine, search and rescue
pilot, aircraft carrier USS Kearsarge, South China
Sea. He received an Honorable Discharge in1967
